Leave door handles closed when unlocked

This should also be an option that can be enabled for charging...whether L2 or L3. That way the handles won't present if you happen to be sitting (or resting) in the vehicle while charging. Passers-by would assume that the vehicle is locked.

I can't tell you how many times I've stood
just
far enough away from the vehicle to cause it to lock, but close enough that it occasionally triggers the unlock again. Then eventually locks again. Over. And. Over. It's infuriating, and embarrassing!Nancy S
Interesting idea, makes sense

This would also help when the vehicle is parked at home. That way, we can still use proximity unlock but the door handles don’t go in and out every time you come close to the car in the driveway.
Would allow enabling only at home, as presenting door handles elsewhere is still nice.

Yes! An option to not present door handles would be dreamy.

my wife mentioned this as well. - there are time that she sits in the car between client meetings and having the door handles out tells the world that the car is unlocked. It makes her feel a little unsafe at times to have the lock status on display to anyone passing by. Having this be a configurable option would be really nice.

Larry Crume - Hey Larry, if you place the car in "Car Wash" mode it will do this to the handles while the vehicle stays unlocked. Then you push in the left side of the handle to manually move the lever out to open.

Ray A: i don't beleive it stays in car wash mode but i could be wrong

Larry Crume: Yeah Car Wash Mode eventually turns off
