Some of this would dovetail very nicely with a GEN 1 TRACK MODE

Better use of real estate on driver display.

More useful data, trip data, and/or make it configurable.
Tire pressure, efficiency, and a map already exist on the center display. We should be able to configure the driver display to show things like trip data, all in one place. Elapsed time, time moving, avg speed, miles driven.
The steering wheel buttons are wonderful but even if you have to configure the display while stopped, so many more useful — and FUN configurations can and should be available here. Let’s not only keep the world adventurous, let’s make the mundane less boring to look at.

Both displays should be configurable. An analog clock face with day and date would be a great addition to the efficiency/tire pressure, navigation rotation.

Strongly agee. Benchmark the Mercedes EQ vehicles to get an idea of what could/ should be.

Totally agree - lots of work needs to be done to upgrade the driver panel UX, it is very Microsoft Office Basics right now. They have so much awesome space and simply haven't used it in an effective or interesting way. Hopefully it's something we'll see in the next 12-18 mos of updates.

I would also like to see the turn signal indicators moved to the upper corners so I can se them, they are currently blocked by the steering wheel. P.S. Rivian has the world's worst sund for turn signals. I get negative comments all of the time

Stuart Berk The turn signals and sound I think are due for an upgrade - so hard to hear and I've left them on by accident many times after never having done so in all my previous vehicles.

So much real estate, so little data. Configurable/Customizable, call it whatever you want, this “little” screen can and should be so much more fun (and safer) to look at for vehicle data.

What about the issue of having the next/previous song and the info driver display controls being shared? That was not clear and, I drove 2000 miles before I was able to understand what I did wrong :)
Trevor Mack
Daniel Cavalheiro: short vs long press of buttons definitely aren't intuitive in many situations, though these operations are clearly detailed in the owner's manual and the delivery specialist should have gone over that with you on delivery if allowed to "walk you through the vehicle interface" of which I declined as I didn't need that service (have also declined from dealership models in the past)

Wassym from Rivian has recently stated that additional info like this will come with the UI refresh.
