Additional Data on Digital Driver Display

Right now we have efficiency, tire pressure, and map but we’d love to be able to customize this display even more with nerdy EV facts like power/torque per motor, additional off-road data, and more.

What about the issue of having the next/previous song and the info driver display controls being shared? That was not clear and, I drove 2000 miles before I was able to understand what I did wrong :)

Wassym from Rivian has recently stated that additional info like this will come with the UI refresh.

Agreed that the driver display should be configurable. And some parameters should (IMHO) be permanent: Time, and a Compass Wheel for direction.

(We should not have to look at the far right corner for Time, nor go to another display for direction. The Nav screen shows direction in the upper right corner; but we need it on permanently on the Driver screen)

At a minimum, the clock, trip odometer (of choice), and outside temp should be in plain view on the driver display.

I would expand on this to allow reconfiguration of existing data. For my driving position, I can't see posted speed limit, turn signals, etc. All hides behind the arch of my steering wheel.

Ian Larson: a steering wheel recalibration (you can do it yourself from settings) may fix this. Over time my steering wheel max vertical position droops lower and lower until I cannot see these same things. Perform the calibration and suddenly I’m able to set a position that makes everything visible.
