Rivian Software Wishlist

Allow Rivian vehicles to self-park by parallel with voice command or widget button to the curb and between vehicles.

The turn signal cameras offer a larger field of view than the mirrors (and the side cameras on the camera screen). Would be nice to have them on at all times when towing, either in the driver screen or the towing page on the center screen. (or allow to reseize on the camera screen to make the side camera feeds larger).

Like the key fob, make it so you can fully open the windows from the PAAK.

When connecting a trailer, it would be extremely helpful to have the ability to test turn signals and brake lights directly from the app while walking around the trailer. Additionally, having app-based control of the suspension height during trailer hookup would make connecting and disconnecting trailers much easier and safer.

Sometimes one will forget to explicitly enable pet mode. Being able to remotely enable this feature from the mobile phone would be nice. A/C will keep them cool, but pet mode will make others aware that this is enabled as well.

Use Driver+ anywhere lanes are detected. The fact they have to be pre-mapped when this is NOT a level 3 autonomous (which was promised at time of preorder) seems ridiculous.

I believe an upcoming release is going to allow some amount of customization to the access list that slides out from the left when you park. I would like to be able to unlock the speaker (but also posted an ask to be able to unlock when not in park)

Tesla has the feature of cabin overheat protection - it will make sure the cabin temp does not go over your specified temp (starting @ 99 degrees and going to 120). This makes sure that you also don't get in the car with really high temps. I often forget to turn on the AC before getting in the car and have had the cabin be over 140 degrees. Would love for the Rivian to keep itself cool like my Tesla does

Need bucket seats in second row to allow an aisle for 5’10 and 5’8 teenagers to get into third row so that my newborn and 2 year old can be in car seats in the 2nd “row” bucket seats. Right now it’s painful for them to get in and out with the car seats often making us unbuckle on of the car seats to move the back of the 2nd row properly to allow enough space for passengers to get in and out. This is going to make us sell our beloved R1S if this doesn’t come next model year. I’d even be willing to pay to have my own vehicle remodeled.

If Apple Carplay is indeed off the table, can we get a Rivian App store so developers can develop third party apps? This would speed up the development of many of the apps requested here and would eliminate the need for something like Carplay.
