I noticed this driving behind it. I thought it was broken until I looked around and saw by design. The running light is useless in full daylight. Barely see the blinkers

Same here. My sister was following me and asked if my break lights and turn signals were working properly as she was having a hard time seeing them.

Jim Elliott absolutely. An animation from say left side to the right side, followed by the tiny blinker would drive the point home. It's so hard to see right now.
