Make Gen 1 vehicle/obstacle detection less jittery

Since I got my car over a year ago, vehicle/pedestrian detection/display seems to have improved slightly, however it's as 'jittery' as ever - vehicles disappear/reappear multiple times a second, positions can be jerky.
I would love to see some minimal 'filter' logic applied that avoids needless false-detection jitter based on the last 1 or 2 seconds of detection data of an object, once that object has been shown that long.

Or just give us a way to turn it off. It is completely nonsense right now so I never use it for anything, but its taking up valuable real estate while providing no tangible value.

Gregory Pierce I could agree, but what happens when someone has it off and then backs into a pole or clips another vehicle in a parking spot. Who is at fault and how will it be proven?

Tom Fenwick Driver is always at fault, but backing up turns on the backup camera and the sensors there which aren't the same. Even if you turned on the display for the backup use case that's fine (and precedent is there because the systems are locked down when backing up). But when driving forward, that display has no value. Its wrong most of the time and shows vehicles in the incorrect orientation or with vehicles overlapping one another and such and there are far more useful things that I could be displaying in that space.
