My R1T Gen1 got this with the 2024.27.01 update. Anyone else notice some tracks using Dolby Atmos (Spatial Audio) push way too much volume to the speaker above driver door (which is right next to my ear for my seat position)? I haven't noticed it in all...but when it does it abruptly pulls me out of any kind of spatial immersion...

I wouldn't call this most important. I like the fact that Apple media already can connect. I can start on my iphone, Apple Music, or any other media app and it transitions to the Rivian infotainment system speakers when I enter the car, if already playing it. I play Sirius XM on my iPhone, and it sounds great in the Rivian. My experience with Apply CarPlay on a '21 BMW X3 was limited apps and I did not use it much. Having a lot more apps available on the iphone is much better.

Trevor Mack well, how did it look? My biggest beef with the Spotify app now is searching by an artist and only seeing a subset of their albums/songs in the results. Hope they do better with Apple Music

David Hayne honestly it looked similar to existing music streaming apps ... Think the idea is they all function the same and likely are underpinned by the same abstraction layer.
Fun part is Atmos is coming to Rivian Premium speakers

Not being able to select a song from the car display in a 100k car blows my mind.
(People will not be switching music providers when their families have dozens of other devices and years of playlists bound to a music service)

Apple Music is I believe the number 2 streaming music service. Even Tesla supports it now.
