Notify, Play, and Transcribe text messages

I am simply beside myself that I have been driving this truck for 18 months and am still unable to get even a notification that I've received a text on the display of an incredibly expensive and incredibly well-made vehicle. This needs to be high priority, and if Rivian can't do it, that's ok...then let us choose to use Android Auto or CarPlay. Not letting owners use a third-party solution to a problem unaddressed by the first-party manufacturer is ridiculous and completely anti-consumer in my view. Easily my biggest issue with Rivian as a company at the moment.

Matthew Sun: I still have an S and I have a different experience. Texts play and you can’t stop them, it gets words so wrong you either need to edit them on the phone or just give up even after trying many times

Teslaliving: It's not lost on me that most voice recognition softwares don't understand me but this one does. Maybe that's why... I'm the outlier!
Oh yeah, and if I remember correctly, you can stop the texts from playing by pushing the button (scroll wheel?) in. Can't remember exactly how to do it but I accidentally figured it out one time. Haven't driven it in a few months, so don't quote me on the procedure.

I would request that this be support for Bluetooth Handsfree Profile. That is the Rivian can act the same as a BT earbud. I could long-press the left-volume roller switch (when Alexa Wake Word is turned off), and have it connect to phone Voice Assistant, rather than Alexa. If this is not what original requester was asking about, then this can be a new request.
This does NOT require the full Carplay/AA (where the phone screen actually drives the car screen). Just voice commands.
