This is a must have item! Every modern car has this feature! Particularly for parallel parking, you have to see the curb in your right mirror. And NO, the cameras are not an option. They do not give a good perception of depth.

Had this on my Model Y and never used it because I didn't want to wear out the mirror motors. Could be useful in the R1T, but the mirrors already have good coverage.

Really, really, really need this feature along with better camera views for backing up and parking.

Why is this even needed if they just turn the cameras on, which is also planned for turn signal activation....

Totally agree. Like most cars, the degree of tilt upon reversing is set by the driver.
