Smooth Light/Dark mode transitions.

When the car automatically switches the theme of its infotainment to light or dark mode, you see everything load in. Like the navigation, which all of the roads load in again. Rivian should be able to preload that in the background and then fade into the theme.

Seems to be much better with the Google maps update.

I agree. A gradual change between the two modes would be more pleasant rather than the sudden flickering of the screens.

I would also prefer to set the two screens light or dark or Auto separately. I prefer the large screen light because the satellite map is clear. But I don't like the blinding White in front of me on the smaller screen

Yes! More conventional cars can do this so much more smoothly
