Rivian Software Wishlist

Tesla has the feature of cabin overheat protection - it will make sure the cabin temp does not go over your specified temp (starting @ 99 degrees and going to 120). This makes sure that you also don't get in the car with really high temps. I often forget to turn on the AC before getting in the car and have had the cabin be over 140 degrees. Would love for the Rivian to keep itself cool like my Tesla does

When stopped at a Red Light, have an audible alert when the light turns green.

Can you add a mode like pet comfort, to keep climate on, but without the need to confirm (for pet safety) and without the pet comfort graphics on the screen? This would make enabling faster and avoid the awkwardness of the pet comfort screen when no pets are present.

Enable V2H (Vehicle to Home) bi-directional charging capability over from the CCS port. And verify to current R1 owners this will work with their vehicles. It's also a huge win for owners to save money by reusing batteries that are in short supply and environmentally damaging to mine the materials for. Bluetooth integration to send and receive text messages hands free.

Sometimes one will forget to explicitly enable pet mode. Being able to remotely enable this feature from the mobile phone would be nice. A/C will keep them cool, but pet mode will make others aware that this is enabled as well.

Right now we have efficiency, tire pressure, and map but we’d love to be able to customize this display even more with nerdy EV facts like power/torque per motor, additional off-road data, and more.

Keep frunk, tonneau and gear tunnel locked when valet mode turned on in app (give key card to Valet) and limit speed to 35 MPH.

Many vehicles have the ability to trigger Siri commands, via a dedicated button on the steering wheel. It’s super convenient (in lieu of CarPlay) for initiating a phone call, or playing a song via Apple Music over Bluetooth, etc..
